IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU

One of the reasons we love taking photos at nurseries and preschools, is because we love to give every family the opportunity to have high quality studio photos of their little ones.

3 times a year we love to take a break from our outdoor and studio family photoshoots, to visit your little one’s settings. It’s our mission to give them a fun experience, and for you to have the chance to get some stylish, high-end photos to cherish.

Where are main photoshoots have a simplistic approach, for our Nursery & Preschool sessions we bespoke design backgrounds and also edit slightly differently. So to get the most out of your photos here are some tips and tricks:

DID YOU KNOW

Make sure to keep an eye on your junk mail just in case our emails go into there. You’ll only ever receive emails from hello@raspberryflare.com or Pixieset (your gallery).

We deliver prints and cards to your child-care setting free of charge within school term time, and on certain dates each season.

SPRING 2025 SEASON DELIVERY TO CHILD-CARE SETTING DATES:
Monday 10th March
Friday 21st March

Please allow 3 days from us receiving your order for print and cards to be ready.

Alternatively you can have them posted or collected from our SS2 studio. Please allow 1 week from your order date for us to get them ready.

You can register your details before the photos have been taken.

If you register before we attend a setting, your photos will be ready to be viewed up to 3 weeks from the day we visit.

You can follow us on social to see set reveals, further tips, when photos have been sent out, and to get to know us a little better.

We offer a one-off 10% discount on our Essential and Imagine sessions for our nursery and preschool families. simply quote ‘DAZZLE’ when booking.

We create our posters with our sets in mind. They will always reflect the design so you can check them out for a clue on colours and style.

Due to the nature of our work, we don’t have a mobile number to hand out. However, email us at hello@raspberryflare.com or send us a message on either Facebook or Instagram, and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours – and if need be we will call you.

OUR PROCESS

1 – On the day we'll need to take your child's full name.

2 – Please fill in the form raspberryflare.com/nursery-form - we need this to give you access to your private gallery. You will need to re-register, even if you have registered before. Remember you can register before photo day!

3 – Your photos will be ready up to 3 weeks once we have received your registration. You'll receive an email with a password via our secure gallery Pixieset (keep an eye out in your junk folder).

4 – Here you can purchase individual digital photos, take advantage of our bundle deals, and also buy prints and cards.

You will have access to your gallery for around 3 months once the photos have been sent (times may vary depending on when you register).

 After that we close down our galleries to prepare for our next season.

To those families who’s children are continuing at their settings, we keep your photos in your gallery for a year. Each new photo season, for example Christmas 2024, will replace Christmas 2023.

To those families where your little ones are leaving their settings, your gallery will close after 3 months. Don’t worry, we do keep you photos on file for 1 year from the session date.

If you would like to see older photos that have been removed from your child’s gallery, we ask for a £10 admin fee to restore them.

YOUR GALLERIES

Security is one of our top priorities, and work closely with our settings to ensure this.

Which is why our process currently is for parents and carers to re-register after every photo session.

This ensures we have the correct details on file, and can accommodate any situational changes.

STYLE TIPS

CLOTHING

Our style is light and airy, and so we will always recommend clothing that reflects that.

However we know our Nursery & Preschool sets are exciting, so if you’d prefer outfits a bit snazzier, we recommend choosing colours that will compliment and not clash with the sets, while keeping patterns on the more minuscule side.

It is up to the Nursery & Preschool settings to change your little ones into their outfits (if one is provided). As you can imagine we have a lot of kids to photograph, so can not guaranttee we can redo photos if they are not changed or outfits are forgotten - so please make sure your little ones setting are aware of your outfit wishes!

Temporary TatTOoes

We know they are fun, but as we don’t edit these out as standard on our Nursery & Preschool photographs, you may want to consider waiting until after the photos to have fun with them if you don’t want them in the photos. We can remove them for an additional charge.

NAIL VARNISH

We know our little ones love to get involved and be active, so nail varnish does tend to chip before we see them. We unfortunately cannot fix without an additional charge.

Socks & SHOES

We will always go on the instruction of our staff based on any requests, however there are times where sock are quite dirty, or your little ones may not want to wear or remove items of clothes.

We recommend always packing a spare pair of clean socks, and checking the bottoms of shoes for any labels, just to help give us options if needed.

GRADUATION

What to wear

Depending on your little one’s height, our gowns generally go down to the knees. However we do some fun poses which may mean lifting of arms and sitting down which means it (and any dresses underneath) will lift.

HAIRSTYLES

Please wear hair in a low style in order for the graduation cap to go on and sit correctly. If hairstyles are too high, our alternate cap hairband will be tried with no cap being the last resort.

Shoes

As our gowns cover up most of any outfit, what they wear on their feet can really stand out. So just make sure you are happy with their choice. We recommend sending in a different, clean pair with them to put on just for their photos.

We appreciate first hand how important it is for those early years experiences to be memorable, and that is why we offer digital photos at a discounted rate.

Digital photos are sent via a download link roughly 24 hours after purchase has been made.

For Christmas the card design will reflect the set with the message ‘Merry Christmas’.
